Terms and Conditions
Last updated 18 October 2026
Effective 18 October 2026. This is the current version; it replaces the version dated 22 September 2026. The current version is always available in the App and at https://targetryapp.com/terms/.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Targetry (the "App"), operated by:
Aleksas Sulnius, carrying on individual activity (individuali veikla) in the Republic of Lithuania Individual activity certificate No.: 789274 Address: K. Ulvydo g. 5-35 08354 Vilnius Lithuania Phone: +370 682 09498 Email: info@targetryapp.com
In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean the operator named above.
By creating an account, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the App.
2. What the App does
Targetry analyzes photos of shooting targets: you upload a photo, it's sent to a third-party AI vision service to detect where the shots landed, and the App scores how tight and how centered the group is. Results and the photos themselves are stored on our server, tied to your account, so you can review your history over time. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what's collected and who processes it.
3. Not a safety tool, and not a substitute for training or supervision
This is the most important section. The App is a scoring and record-keeping aid, nothing more:
- It does not verify that a firearm, range, or shooting activity was operated safely, and it plays no role in firearm safety, range supervision, or instruction.
- Scoring and shot-placement detection come from an AI vision model and can be wrong - misread a group, miscount strays, or misjudge a target's shape. Do not treat any score, measurement, or detected shot position as authoritative or as a substitute for your own judgment, a qualified instructor, or a range safety officer.
- Always follow the firearm safety rules and range rules that apply to you, regardless of anything the App shows.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to create an account. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement and that creating an account and using the App is lawful where you live, including with respect to any local rules on firearms-related content or imagery.
5. Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
- Give us an email address you control - it's how you verify your account and recover access (see the password reset and email verification flows).
- You can delete your account at any time from within the App. This immediately and permanently removes your account, your entire target history, every stored photo, and every shooting session including the firearm and ammunition recorded on it - it cannot be undone, and we cannot recover it for you afterward.
- You do not have to delete your account to remove something. Individual targets, notes, and whole shooting sessions can each be deleted on their own from within the App. What each option removes is set out at https://targetryapp.com/delete_account/.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload photos that are illegal to possess, transmit, or process where you or we operate, or that depict anything other than a shooting target (paper, steel, or similar) for scoring.
- Use the App to violate any law, including firearms laws applicable to you.
- Attempt to access another user's account or data, interfere with the App's operation, or circumvent its security.
- Use the App in any way that could bring it, other users, or us into disrepute.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violating this section, or for any conduct we reasonably believe is harmful to the App, other users, or us.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of the photos you upload. By uploading a photo, you grant us a limited license to store it, send it to our AI vision provider for analysis, process it, and display it back to you within the App - solely to provide the App's functionality to you. We don't use your photos for any other purpose, and we don't grant ourselves rights to your content beyond what's needed to run the App (see our Privacy Policy, Section 5, for exactly who processes it).
You're responsible for making sure you have the right to upload whatever you submit.
8. Third-party services
Photo analysis is performed by a third-party AI provider (Anthropic's Claude API - see our Privacy Policy), and the App itself runs on a third-party hosting provider. The App's availability, speed, and analysis quality depend on those services being up and working correctly; we aren't responsible for their outages, errors, or changes to their own terms.
9. Plans, allowances and top-up credits
All purchases are made through Google Play's billing system: Google handles the payment, your payment details never reach us, and Google Play's terms apply to the transaction alongside these. Prices are shown in Google Play before you buy and include any VAT or other taxes that Google Play charges where you live.
9.1 What a plan gives you
One "analysis" means one photo analyzed and scored. Plans are:
| Plan | Allowance | Period | Results saved? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 5 analyses | Calendar month | Yes |
| Monthly | 30 analyses | Month, from your purchase date | Yes |
| Annual | 300 analyses | Year, from your purchase date | Yes |
The App always shows your current allowance under Settings -> Plan.
Prices are shown in the App before you buy and may change; a change never affects a period you have already paid for.
9.2 Your allowance does not roll over
Unused analyses from a period are lost when that period ends. They do not accumulate. If you are on the Monthly plan and use 12 of your 30 analyses, the next month starts at 30 again, not at 48. Free-plan analyses reset at the start of each calendar month the same way. Your period renewal date is shown in the App under Settings → Plan.
9.3 Top-up credits
Top-up credits are not on sale yet. This section describes how they will work once the App offers them; until then, nothing here can be bought.
A top-up is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It is charged once, it does not renew, and you will never be billed for it again.
Top-up credits are bought when a plan's allowance runs out. Unlike the allowance in 9.2, they are not tied to your billing period: they survive the end of a subscription, and any analysis paid for with a credit is saved to your history even if you are otherwise on the Free plan.
Credits are valid for 12 months from the date you buy them. Each purchase has its own expiry date, counted from that purchase - buying credits in March and again in June gives you two batches expiring in March and June of the following year. Your remaining credits and their expiry dates are shown in the App under Settings → Plan.
9.4 Which allowance is used first
We always use whichever of your available analyses expires soonest. If your plan allowance runs out at the end of this month and you hold credits valid for another year, the plan allowance is used first; if you hold credits expiring next week, those are used first instead. This is so that nothing you have paid for is wasted while something longer-lived sits unused.
9.5 What counts against your allowance
- A photo you upload and we successfully analyze and score counts as one analysis.
- Re-scoring a stored target counts as one analysis, the same as a new photo - it repeats the same paid AI processing.
- A photo we determine is not a shooting target does not count, and neither does an analysis that fails for a technical reason. In both cases the analysis is returned to your allowance automatically.
9.6 If your subscription ends
When a paid plan expires or is cancelled, your account returns to the Free plan. Your existing target history and photos remain stored and readable - we do not delete them because a subscription ended - and any unused top-up credits remain usable (9.3). You simply return to the Free plan's monthly allowance for new analyses, and those results are saved like any other (9.7).
9.7 Free-plan results are saved
Analyses on the Free plan are added to your history like any other, and appear in History and Statistics. The Free plan differs from the paid plans only in how many analyses it includes each month, not in what happens to them.
9.8 Refunds
There are two ways to ask for a refund, and you can use either:
- Through Google Play. Google Play has its own refund policy and handles requests made through it, including for a short period after purchase without needing to contact us. See Google Play's help pages for how to ask.
- Through us, by writing to info@targetryapp.com with the email address of your Targetry account and, if you have it, the Google Play order number (it starts with "GPA."). We issue refunds through Google Play, to the payment method you used.
When you ask us, our policy is:
- Analyses you have already used are not refundable. Each one was performed at the moment you uploaded the photo, and it cost us real money to run.
- Unused allowance is refundable pro rata. We refund the share of what you paid that matches the share of your allowance you have not used. For example, on the Monthly plan (30 analyses) having used 15, half your allowance is unused, so half of what you paid for that period is refundable.
- Unused top-up credits are refundable in full within their validity period. Refunded credits are removed from your account at the same time.
- A refunded subscription ends at the same time, and your account returns to the Free plan (9.6).
Statutory rights are unaffected: if the law where you live gives you a right to cancel or to a refund - including the right to withdraw described in 9.10 - that right applies regardless of anything in this section.
9.9 Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel
The Monthly and Annual plans are subscriptions. Each one renews automatically at the end of its period - monthly or yearly - and Google Play charges you for the next period at the price then in effect, until you cancel.
- How to cancel: in the Google Play Store app, open your profile, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, choose Targetry and select Cancel subscription. You can do this at any time.
- Deleting the App or your Targetry account does not cancel the subscription. Google Play keeps billing until the subscription itself is cancelled there - cancel it first.
- When cancelling takes effect: at the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep your plan and its remaining allowance until then, and you are not charged again. Cancelling does not by itself refund the current period; see 9.8 and 9.10 for when you can get money back.
- Price changes: if the price of your plan changes, you will be told in advance, through Google Play and in the App, before the new price applies to you. Where Google Play's rules require you to accept a higher price, your subscription will not renew at that price unless you do. A price change never affects a period you have already paid for.
- Changing plan (for example from Monthly to Annual): the App cannot switch a running subscription yet. Cancel the current one in Google Play, and once its paid period has ended, subscribe to the other plan from Settings → Plan. You can hold one subscription at a time.
Top-up credits are not a subscription and never renew (9.3).
9.10 Your right to withdraw (consumers in the EU and UK)
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The 14 days run from the day of the purchase.
To withdraw, tell us clearly before the 14 days are over - an email to info@targetryapp.com is enough, and you may use the model form below, though you don't have to. A refund request made through Google Play within that time also counts. We refund you within 14 days of receiving your decision, through Google Play, to the payment method you used.
If you start using what you bought within the 14 days, the following applies. The App offers paid plans and credits for immediate use, so before you buy, it asks you to confirm that you want the service to start straight away, and that you understand how this affects your right to withdraw:
- Subscriptions: if you withdraw after you have started using the plan, you pay for what you received up to that point - we keep the share of the price that matches the analyses you used, and refund the rest, calculated the same way as in 9.8.
- Top-up credits: credits you have already used are not refunded; unused credits are refunded in full.
- If you have used everything you bought - the whole allowance, or all of the credits - before withdrawing, the service has been fully provided, and there is nothing left to refund.
Withdrawing ends the plan, or removes the credits, that the withdrawal covers.
Model withdrawal form (complete and return it only if you wish to withdraw):
To: Aleksas Sulnius, K. Ulvydo g. 5-35 08354 Vilnius Lithuania, info@targetryapp.com
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the following service: Targetry - [plan or top-up credits], ordered on [date]. Name: [your name] Email address of your Targetry account: [email] Google Play order number, if available: [GPA....] Date: [date]
10. No warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied - including, to the extent the law allows, any warranty that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its analysis will be accurate.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, or for any decision made or action taken in reliance on the App's scoring, detection, or any other output. This includes, without limitation, any consequence relating to how you handle a firearm, range equipment, or ammunition - see Section 3.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the law that applies to you - including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived by agreement.
12. Changes to the App or these Terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue the App, or any part of it, at any time. We may update these Terms as the App changes; the current version is always available from within the App. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
13. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (Section 5). We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these Terms, or discontinue the App entirely, with notice where reasonably possible.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, and the courts of Vilnius, Lithuania have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the App.
This does not take away your rights as a consumer. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country where the law allows it. Nothing in this section overrides those rights - see also Section 11.
If you are a consumer and we cannot resolve a complaint between us, you may refer it to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority of the Republic of Lithuania (Valstybinė vartotojų teisių apsaugos tarnyba, https://www.vvtat.lt), which resolves consumer disputes out of court, or to the consumer dispute body of the country you live in. If you live elsewhere in the EU, the European Consumer Centre in your country can help with a cross-border complaint free of charge. We would rather you wrote to info@targetryapp.com first: most things are quicker to fix directly.
